Productores de Cafénor comes from the Metapan area of El Salvador, sourced directly from a dedicated group of growers coordinated by Alejandro Valiente's sustainability-focused Cafénor operation. Washed and dried using solar and wind power at their carbon-neutral mill, this coffee prioritizes farmer economics (80–85% of export price to growers) alongside environmental responsibility. The cup is pleasantly sweet and approachable rather than fruit-forward: subtle notes of pear, apple, and citrus back up the dominant flavors of nougat, milk chocolate, and almond pastry. This is a no-frills, genuinely good coffee from producers who get the bigger picture right.
