From the Letefoho district's Lacau Farmers Group in Ducurai village, this washed coffee comes from 14 organic-certified family farms in Timor-Leste. The washed process—dried in parchment rather than wet-hulled—preserves clarity and avoids the vegetal funk common in Pacific Island coffees. Huckleberry tastes chocolate chip cookies, golden raisins, apricots, and a creamy macadamia-like nuttiness. It's an approachable everyday coffee that offers the nuance and balance of a refined Latin American washed, with the distinctive terroir of East Timor's highland farms.
