Gesha - Natural El Velo - Hacienda La Esmeralda

El Velo is one of Hacienda La Esmeralda's newer acquisitions (2012), a 50-hectare farm in Panama planted between 1,650–1,900 masl with primarily Geisha and Catuai, plus experimental varieties from CATIE research. The natural process amplifies the aromatic complexity: expect prominent floral notes of rose, bright passionfruit, and the musky sweetness of Muscat Rouge. This is a coffee from one of specialty's most storied producers, grown on a farm designed for uniform ripeness and backed by decades of varietal experimentation.
