From Kii Coffee Factory in Kirinyaga County near Mount Kenya's foothills, this washed coffee blends four Kenyan varieties—the classic SL-28 and SL-34 alongside disease-resistant Ruiru 11 and Batian—grown by smallholders in the Rungeto Farmers Cooperative. The washed process emphasizes clean, defined fruit character: dark blackcurrant and ripe plum notes with black tea structure and sweetness. At 1,850 masl, the elevation and variety mix create a balanced, tea-like depth that distinguishes this lot from typical Kenyan coffees.
