Fredi & Jaime Ortega's El Bosquesito sits at 1850–1910 MASL in San Agustin, Huila, where a single harvest pass of Pink Bourbon was picked September 8–11, 2025. The washed process includes 32-hour dry fermentation in tiled tanks, contributing complexity and structure to the cup. This lot tastes vibrant and tropical—grape, cherry cordial, tropical citrus—with a silky body and lasting sweetness. The Ortega brothers' dedication to quality, refined over three years with Monkaaba's mentorship, shines in their microlots; this is Ilse's fourth season collaborating with them.
