Kenya Windrush Peaberry
Grown just outside Nairobi in Kiambu County at 1,500–1,950 m elevation, this coffee comes from 1,000 smallholder growers in the Gatatha Farmers Company who deliver ripe cherry to Windrush Estate. Washed and dried on raised beds, the lot showcases prized Kenyan varieties (SL-28 and SL-34) in peaberry form—naturally single seeds from rare cherry morphology that concentrate flavor intensity. Expect blackberry, red currant, and white grapefruit notes with the crisp acidity Kenya's highlands are known for. This is a limited-edition selection highlighting both terroir precision and the agricultural heritage of Kiambu's smallholder tradition.
