Guchienda

Guchienda is a third-generation family farm in Kenya, now managed by Esther Wanjiku Kamau and her sons following decades of careful expansion. This lot is composed entirely of SL28, a heritage variety planted across the estate's 5,200+ trees, and was produced as part of the Retro 1984 project—a source of standout reserve lots. The washed processing delivers a big, sweet, and savory profile with fresh blackberry and lime peel in the cup, finishing with blackcurrant, cola, and a distinctive note of fresh sungold tomato.
