El Obraje

Produced by CoE winner Pablo Andrés Guerrero at El Obraje farm in Nariño, Colombia, at 2200 meters elevation, this washed geisha delivers punchy tropical fruit—pineapple, cherry, and raspberry. Hand-picked cherries at peak ripeness were fermented whole for 120 hours, then shade-dried for 8 days and finished with 38 hours of mechanical drying, creating clean brightness and complexity. The farm maintains over half its land as nature reserve while growing eight different varieties. A genuine discovery for fruit-forward espresso or filter enthusiasts.
