El Obraje Espresso
Pablo Andrés Guerrero's El Obraje farm sits at 2,200 meters in Nariño, Colombia, where hand-picked cherries undergo natural fermentation for 120 hours followed by shade-drying and mechanical finishing. This geisha variety delivers vibrant tropical fruit notes—pineapple, cherry, and raspberry—with enough punch for excellent straight shots and Americanos. Roasted slightly darker than the filter version, it's a discovery from the World of Coffee that combines geisha's distinctive complexity with the structured body espresso demands.
