Colombia Honey Gesha Familia Lasso Guevara Vereda Las Águilas
Grown by Colombian Cup Tasters Champion Wbeimar Lasso and Juliana Guevara at Finca La Terraza in Vereda Las Águilas at 1900–2000 masl, this microlot geisha was hand-selected for peak ripeness and sugar content. The coffee was depulped and fermented 48 hours in tank, then solar-dried with the fermented mucilage intact over 25 days in thin layers—a precise technique that avoids fungal contamination while extending flavor development. The cup sings with toffee, honey, jasmine, orange blossom, vanilla, and graham: light, delicate, and floral. This is a limited experimental lot from a producer known for innovative multi-stage fermentations.
