Guatemala Primos Unidos comes from the Hoja Blanca and Agua Dulce area (1700–1850 masl), grown by the Villatoro family across Bourbon and Caturra varietals. The washed process—36-hour fermentation followed by 14 days of patio drying—delivers exceptional clarity: brown sugar and subtle yellow plum and berry notes with a sweet star anise finish. This is a remarkably clean, tea-like cup that punches above the typical Guatemalan profile, versatile enough for filter or espresso and worth seeking out if you prefer refined, fruit-forward South American coffees.
