Kanzu is a private wet mill in Rwanda sourcing cherries from roughly 60 small farms on high-altitude slopes with volcanic soil and lush ecosystem—ideal coffee terroir. The washed process emphasizes careful fruit removal, controlled fermentation, and even drying, yielding a full-bodied, sweet, and elegant cup. Tasting notes reveal pure coffee flavor with black tea-coated undertones of sweet plum and orange. This is a quality-driven lot that showcases the care built into every step of milling.
