Landrace - Natural - Banko Chelchele

From Banko Chelchele in Gedeo Zone, Ethiopia, this coffee grows at 1,900–2,300 meters on fertile red clay soils. Smallholder farmers hand-pick ripe cherries and dry them whole in the sun—traditional natural processing that encourages pronounced fruit expression. Expect watermelon and yellow peach with floral notes, a profile shaped by Ethiopian varieties 74112 and 74110, both selected for disease resistance and cup potential. The careful sorting and even drying preserve quality while letting the fruit-forward character shine.
