From Shoondhisa Kebele in Guji, Ethiopia (2,000–2,150 masl), this community lot of 35 smallholder farmers grows Gibirinna 74110 and Serto 74112—heirloom varieties selected in 1974 for disease resistance. Natural processing keeps whole cherries drying on raised beds, concentrating fruit character while preserving aromatic clarity. The cup opens floral and juicy with dominant blueberry, supported by lilac-like aromatics and ripe mango, finishing clean and perfumed. Sookoo Coffee's kebele-specific traceability and careful drying method elevate this lot above typical regional lots.
