Sourced from smallholder farmers in Gitwe, Burundi, these cherries were processed at Heza washing station (operated by Long Miles). The beans were pulped and sun-dried with fruit intact, a honey process that concentrates sweetness and complexity. Expect bright tea-like acidity, cherry, and citrus lemon notes that balance the inherent richness from extended fruit contact. This micro-lot delivers the refined clarity and intensity that comes from meticulous smallholder cultivation and careful fermentation.
