Las Margaritas

Finca Las Margaritas, established in 2019 by producer Emmanuel Solís in the Santa Maria district of Dota, Costa Rica, showcases the H3 hybrid variety—a cross between caturra and an Ethiopian landrace from CATIE research. Honey processing brightens the cup with tangy passionfruit and citrus notes while deepening richly sweet flavors of caramelized nuts and cocoa. This experimental hybrid represents Solís's recent shift toward innovative cultivars alongside his established SL28 and geisha plantings.
