This washed Java variety from Jinotega, northwest Nicaragua, brings together harvests from multiple small producers. Named after Nicaragua's national flower, Sacuanjoche, the coffee reflects the floral character of its namesake—a rare quality in Nicaraguan coffees. The Java plant genetics trace directly to Ethiopian Landrace ancestry, contributing distinct tea-like florals in the aroma followed by mildly sweet notes of golden apple, Bartlett pear, and delicate browning sugars. A distinctive single-origin that showcases how plant genetics and terroir intersect.
