Buchanas
Finca Las Buchanas, a new addition to Prodigal's lineup, sits at 1,750 meters in La Paz, Honduras, where manager Edis Joel Ávila focuses on quality elevation and sustainable practices. The coffee is traditionally washed—ripe cherries de-pulped, briefly fermented for 10–12 hours, triple-washed, then dried on raised beds for 12–16 days, resulting in clean clarity and balanced sweetness. Expect punchy cherry and orange notes alongside creamy, soft persimmon for a lovely, approachable cup. Sourced through The Coffee Quest in partnership with CONEXH, this Sidra varietal represents Honduras' move toward quality and reduced agrochemical reliance.
