Villa Sarchi varietal grown by the award-winning Castro Kahle family at 1500–1600 masl in Alajuela's Central Valley, this coffee undergoes a warm anaerobic natural process—ripe cherries sealed in temperature-controlled tanks to slow fermentation and concentrate fruit character. The cup is surprisingly mild and bright, delivering cherry, melon, golden raisin, and a whisper of raspberry on the finish. A small-batch experimental offering from a producer with three Cup of Excellence 1st-place finishes and deep roots in Costa Rican land conservation.
