Grown by 2022 COE winner Galo Fernando Morales Flores at Finca Cruz Loma in San José de Minas, Pichincha Province, this Typica Mejorado thrives at 1450 masl in Ecuador's equatorial climate. The washed process yields a light-bodied cup with bright citrus character—orange sherbet and nectarine dominate, with marshmallow sweetness and hints of cinnamon. A refined, elegant expression that shines in espresso; this first batch represents a marked step up in clarity and finesse.
