From the Yismashewa Washing Station in Gedeo, Yirgacheffe—led by Lego Tiba Malde Yismashewa with over 30 years of coffee expertise—this coffee showcases indigenous heirloom varietals at 1800–2200 masl. The anaerobic natural process amplifies the fruit-forward, fermented profile: red and blue berry compote, tangy cheesecake undertones, and floral violet notes emerge, with a subtle funk that adds depth rather than detract. The roaster's light roast (112.3) preserves the delicate complexity. Meticulous traceability and quality control from farmer to export make this a standout expression of modern Yirgacheffe.
