2026 Danche, White Honey - Ethiopia

From Gedeb in Ethiopia's Gedeo zone at 2,200 meters, this Ethiopian Landrace was hand-picked at peak ripeness and processed as a white honey—de-pulped quickly with minimal mucilage, then dried on shaded beds over three days. The result is a tea-like cup with peach, watermelon, and citrus notes that sing clearly. Danche's new quality protocols, developed with SNAP and Tim Hill, extracted only Grade 1 lots for intensive separation, making this one of the finest selections from the 2025 harvest.
