2026 Felix Morocho - Ecuador
This is SEY's first lot separation from Felix Morocho in Saraguro, Ecuador, grown at 1,900 masl on the unique Mejorado varietal—a Bourbon-Ethiopian Landrace cross endemic to Ecuador. The coffee is hand-picked at peak ripeness, floated to remove defects, held in-cherry overnight, then dry-fermented for 36 hours after de-pulping before washing and drying on raised beds. In the cup, expect eucalyptus, nectarine, and white tea—a bright, nuanced profile that reflects both the varietal's complexity and Felix's meticulous care. Small-lot production makes this an increasingly rare opportunity to experience one of Ecuador's most distinctive and challenging-to-source coffees.
