Munkaze

Small-scale farmers in Burundi deliver their harvests to the Munkaze washing station, where African raised beds dry the fruit over approximately 30 days. This natural process yields a fruit-forward cup without heavy fermentation notes — plum, mission fig, and raisin dominate, anchored by silky chocolate that provides structure and balance. The aromatics reveal ripe plum and berries. A rare find from a region where naturally processed coffees are uncommon, this lot earned its place in Sweet Bloom's lineup through sheer quality.
